Residential Interiors

The project brief was simple 'clear the clutter'.

Over the years the collection of non-useful things had taken over and our big challenge was to create a strict line wherein some things were had to get rid of immaterial human emotions that had kept it going and wasting prime space inside the home.

Also, the main thing we did here is to introduce an open kitchen as Lady of the house spent most of the time there and could never be part of social life talk with family on the other side of the wall, hence we got rid of the wall wherein kitchen and living became one unit.

The client wanted Home automation done and wanted to get several different moods at different times of the day. We got several lights of various different characteristics and mood-inducing lights to give the Client a feel of the space.

This House is on the 16th floor with East facing windows, so to get rid of the Sliding glass barrier between the user and the view of the Majestic Mountains of New Mumbai we replaced it with a sliding folding window to have a maximum open and clear visibility of the view.

The balcony was a crucial place as house owners were nature and plant enthusiasts, we changed the perception of a balcony to a calming garden by replacing the hard floor with grass carpet to walk on and arranged maximum possible potted plants of different species.
